Eligibility
The Dorset Tourism Award is open to any business, attraction, or event with a BH/DT postcode or which is based in Dorset.
You do not have to be a Member of Dorset Business (the Chamber of Commerce & Industry to enter.
Description of the Award from Sponsors
The Dorset Tourism Award celebrates our County's finest people, businesses, events and attractions for their contributions and success within the Tourism Industry in Dorset
Entry criteria
Entries are invited from businesses, events and attractions which are accessible on a seasonal or year round basis and which can demonstrate that excellence in service, customer care and hospitality are regarded as core business objectives.
Application process
Entry can be either online or paper based.
- Online entry
If you are entering on-line you will have the ability to create an account and will therefore be able to save your entry and log in at a later date to complete it if required. Complete the entry form on the right hand side which will also give you the opportunity to upload files if you wish.
- Paper-based entry
For paper based entries please download the Word Document and send your completed entry form and any accompanying documentation to:

Additional supporting evidence including use of customer feedback forms, policies and procedures, special project information, photographs, press cuttings and endorsements may be included with your entry.
Closing date for entries is Friday 18 September 2009. Please note this date is final and will not be extended.
Judging Process
Judging will commence early October 2009.
Finalists will be invited to attend the Dorset Business Awards Gala Dinner on Friday 11th December 2009 at the Lighthouse in Poole as a guest of their Sponsor.
