The series of judging sessions for this year’s Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards have now been completed and companies of all sizes from a number of industry sectors have made it to the finals.
After weeks of deliberation, the judges for the 2011 Dorset Business Awards have produced an extremely strong shortlist of 27 companies and three schools across nine categories, with the winners being named at the Awards ceremony in November.
Organised by Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this year’s Awards generated significant interest from within the region’s business community and entries came from a diverse range of organisations in the area. There are finalists stretching from Christchurch to Bridport and from Portland to Stalbridge and the names of the winners will remain a closely guarded secret until the glittering Oscar-style Awards Gala Dinner at the Lighthouse Poole on Thursday 24 November hosted by the comedian and actress Debra Stephenson.
