Dorset Business Awards finalists celebrate reaching the finals at exclusive event

Nov 16, 2011

Anticipation grows ahead of this month’s prestigious Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards Gala Dinner. All 2011 finalists – 27 first-class businesses, three schools and three apprentices – have congregated to attend an exclusive drinks reception with the Award sponsors in celebration of reaching the penultimate stage of the competition.

Taking place at Hoburne Park in Christchurch on 14 November, the exclusive drinks reception enabled finalists to meet each other as well as the sponsors, celebrate their achievements and find out about the glittering Oscar-style Awards Gala Dinner at the Poole Lighthouse on 24 November.

Chief executive of Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peter Scott, says: "Award sponsors and organisers believe this was an extremely important event to celebrate the achievements of the finalists, as well as provide them with a valuable opportunity to meet their award sponsors ahead of the main event itself. Congratulations to all those short-listed for this year’s Dorset Business Awards, and we look forward to announcing the ultimate winners at the end of the month."
