Terms and Conditions

1. Participation in the Dorset Business Awards is by the official entry forms only or via the website.

2. The competition is open to businesses or people based in Dorset or who conduct the majority of their business from Dorset unless otherwise stated in the criteria specific to each award.

3. Entry is not restricted to Members of Dorset Business (the Chamber of Commerce & Industry). Non members may apply.

4. Entries for more than one award may be submitted, but separate entry forms and supporting statements and background materials are required.

5. The copyright of all materials assembled by the organisers of the competition will remain the property of the organiser and may be used for the purpose of publicising the awards.

6. If entrants wish any items sent with their entry to be returned, these should be clearly marked. Although the organiser will make every effort to return them, they cannot guarantee to do so.

7. All entrants must agree to publicity in respect to their entry both before and after the Dorset Business Awards Gala Dinner.

8. The judges reserve the right to withdraw or transfer the award at their absolute discretion.

9. Finalists will be expected to attend the Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 29th November 2007 when the winners will be announced. Winners may be required to answer any questions put by the presenter.

10. Dorset Business will require company information for all finalists which will be used and shown during the Awards Gala Dinner. All finalists will need to fully co-operate with Dorset Business.

11. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence on their decision will be entered into. By registering and completing an entry for the awards you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
