All-round business excellence will be the prerequisite for this year’s KPMG Company of the Year. As a market leader demonstrating excellence in products and services and a dynamic approach to quality and innovation, Dorset’s top company will have a winning track record of continuing growth through identifying opportunities and exploiting new markets. Strong financial performance and a clear business strategy are important. A contribution to the local community and environment will further prove the company’s commitment to the Dorset economy.

The KPMG Company of the Year is open to any Dorset business which has been trading for at least three years. Entry is open to all companies with sales in excess of £5 million, from private companies to multi-nationals and subsidiaries, but excludes not for profit organisations.

Supporting documentation

Your entry should be accompanied by a copy of the entry form and a written statement of not more than five A4 pages, describing why the company should be considered for the award. The information must be in line with the listed judging criteria. The application should be accompanied by supporting evidence (eg photographs, press cutting and endorsements, product literature) and the latest two sets of accounts, with an additional up-to-date statement if the accounts are more than nine months old. Site visits will be made to short listed companies by representatives of the judging panel.
