Lester Aldridge is sponsoring the Lester Aldridge Best Management Team for the second year after many years sponsoring the Business Person of the Year. Business success is attributed to an amalgam of attributes and the Lester Aldridge Best Management Team award received an overwhelming response in its first year which we look forward to being replicated in 2006. The teams ranged in both size and dynamics but all demonstrated cohesion and exemplary team work performance.  Last year's entrants achieved enviable successes – some changing the dynamics of their business and others offering resilience in a competitive market place.

Entry Criteria/Eligibility

The Best Management team will have displayed attributes including:

• Dynamism

• Originality

• Innovation

• Motivation

• Leadership

• Financial Awareness

These should have contributed to a particular project or initiative demonstrating the improved performance of the company.

The Lester Aldridge Best Management Team is open to any Dorset business.

Entry is open to company teams of any size whose main-base is in Dorset.

How to enter the Lester Aldridge Best Management Team Award.

Supporting Documentation

The official entry form should be accompanied by a written statement, of not more that five A4 typed pages, explaining how the management team have contributed to the success of their business. The information must be in line with the listed judging criteria. Additional supporting evidence including photographs, press cuttings and endorsements may be included. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to give a short presentation to a judging panel in October 2006.
