Description of the Award from sponsors
An educational award to the firm�that has established a positive partnership with a local school is entitled "Linking with Schools".�� It is up to the school to supply the entry, and an reward will also be given to the school.
Entry Criteria/Eligibility
It is up to the partnership school to supply the entry.
This is done by filling in the partnership companies details in the panel opposite, and then answering some questions on the following page.
We would require each entry to be sponsored by the partnership school.
We will be looking for a company that has established an ongoing positive relationship with a school (including a middle school) in Dorset, Bournemouth or Poole. This might take the form of regular work-experience, company visits or project work.
Entry Deadline
Closing date for Nominations is Friday 21 September 2007.
It will be advantageous to be able to visit the short listed company�s with a representative of the school in October 2007.
A word from the Sponsors
The three Councils are working together to encourage productive links between local schools and employers. This will hopefully have a number of mutual benefits; perhaps assist recruitment, assist in the retention of skills within the area and encourage a spirit of entrepreneurship In Dorset.
