Eligibility

The Apprenticeship Training Award is open to any EMPLOYER of any size with a BH/DT postcode or who is based in Dorset who is actively contributing to the development of the Apprenticeship programme.

The EMPLOYER should complete and submit the entry form in full having ensured that is has been endorsed by the Training Provider at the end of the entry form.  The Dorset Business Awards reserves the right to contact the Training Provider regarding their endorsement if required.

Description of the Award from the Sponsor

The Apprenticeship Training Award will be presented to the Company recognising and delivering outstanding Apprenticeship Training in Dorset.

Entry criteria

The judges will base their decision on the success of the Company Apprenticeship programme and how it has beneffied the organisation and the Apprentice.

Supporting documentation

Please provide evidence in support of this nomination where appropriate (i.e. supporting evidence could include copies of certificates, photographs, press cuttings and endorsements for your entry).

Judging process

Closing date for entries is 5pm on Wednesday 18th September 2013.  Please note this date is final and cannot be extended.

All information will be treated confidentially and  will only be circulated amongst the judges. It will be advantageous for the judge(s) to be able to make an informal visit to the short listed Employer during late-September/early October 2013. Please record any dates during this period when this will not be convenient (if appropriate) on the entry form.

Finalists will be invited to attend the following two events as a guest of their Sponsor:

The Meet the Finalists and Sponsors event at 6.30pm-8.30pm on Monday 18th November 2013 (venue to be decided).

The Dorset Business Awards Gala Dinner at 6.45pm on Thursday 28th November 2013 at the Lighthouse in Poole as a guest of their Sponsor.
