Business Woman of the Year Award

Eligibility

The Business Woman of the Year Award is open to any professional female business owner with a BH/DT postcode or who is based in Dorset. The Award is not restricted to any specific sized company, industry or sector but the business has to have been operating for 2 years or more. Franchise Owners and professional women who have their own private practices e.g. Accountants, Solicitors, Dentists, Doctors can also enter this award.

This award will celebrate and recognise successful and inspiring business women in Dorset .

Entry criteria

The judges will be looking to award outstanding achievement, innovative business concept, growth and good management skills.

Application process

Entry can be either online or paper based.

Online entry

If you are entering on-line you will have the ability to save your entry and log in at a later date to complete if required: Enter the Business Woman of the Year Award.

Paper-based entry

For paper based entries please download the Business Woman of the Year Award Entry Form. Please send your completed entry form and accompanying documentation Recorded Delivery to the person named on the entry form.

Supporting documentation

Additional supporting evidence photographs, press cuttings and endorsements may be included for your entry.

Judging Process

All information will be treated confidentially and will only be circulated amongst the judges.

Closing date for entries is Tuesday 10th September 2013. Please note this date is final and will not be extended.

Shortlisted entrants will be invited to give a short presentation to judges after the closing date and/or may receive visit from the judges.

Finalists will be invited to attend the following two events as a guest of their Sponsor:

The Meet the Finalists and Sponsors event at 6.30pm-8.30pm on Monday 18th November 2013 (venue to be decided)

The Dorset Business Awards Gala Dinner at 6.45pm on Thursday 28th November 2013 at the Lighthouse in Poole as a guest of their Sponsor.
