Description of the Award from the Sponsors

Dorset as a county evokes inspiration and creativity through its dramatic landscapes and diverse communities. As a result, we host a dynamic array of businesses in the creative industries as well as a wider range of organisations in all sectors where creativity is the essence that sets them apart. The Creative Company or Project Award celebrates creativity where it makes an impact to Dorset – where it contributes to the county’s reputation for dynamic business. As Sponsors of this award we are looking for Dorset’s most outstanding and results-driven creative company or creative project. It could be an individual, group of people or a complete organisation which ends up as our winner!

Have you, your team, or your organisation been responsible for producing something creative which has achieved a real impact in a business context?

Whether you’re an:

  • advertising, marketing, PR department or agency who has completed a ground-breaking campaign with tangible results, or
  • a web designer who has created a stunning or interactive site which has increased online sales, or
  • an architect who has designed a building for the community, or
  • a company who has invested in art for staff morale, or
  • an entrepreneur who has used creativity to build your business.

The options are endless so why not enter you could be the next winner!

Entry criteria

If you apply creativity in your role, or if you are responsible for introducing a supplier to do it on your organisation’s behalf and it achieves results – then tell us about it!

  • Did your new brochure inspire a turnaround of your company’s success?
  • Did your innovative use of space revitalize a worn-out district?
  • Did your recent advertising campaign reinvigorate a tired offering?
  • Has creative use of your website turned a corner for the business?
  • Did the clever use of other’s products sell your development faster than you could build it?
  • Has your strategic re-brand brought about the intended outcomes or has it delivered far, far more?

All you need to do is convince the judges that your company or project is worthy of the Creative Company/Project of the Year Award, ie demonstrate how the project has benefited its audience. This may be demonstrated by positive consumer feedback alongside a well-written brief; testimonials from happier staff or simply from your balance sheets. The more convincing the argument, the better your chances of winning!!!
