2011 Dorset Business Awards Winners are announced

The 17^th Annual Dorset Business Awards closed for entry on Friday 9^th September 2011. The Dorset Business Awards fanfare the achievements of Dorset’s most vibrant companies providing valuable recognition for the entire company. The Awards are open to any business or individual within a BH/DT postcode or who is based in Dorset.

This year's Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards produced an extremely strong shortlist of Finalists but there could only be one winner across each award category. The ultimate winners were announced at the prestigious Awards Gala Dinner, the business event of the year held on the evening of Thursday 24th November 2011 at The Lighthouse in Poole (click here to see the winners). This year's gala dinner was hosted by the Comedian and Actress Debra Stephenson.

Organisers, for the sixth year running, Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry were delighted with the strong interest this year with the highest number of entries received ever.
