FAMILY BUSINESS EVENT TAKING PLACE IN BRISTOL THIS YEAR

Aimed at family businesses and their professional advisers, Familiarity 2007 is the only family business conference taking place this year in the South West and is being organised by Bristol based The International Centre for Families in Business.

Seeking to raise the profile of the contribution that the family business sector makes to the UK economy the conference will raise awareness of some of the issues that need to be addressed in taking a business from one generation to the next.

With delegates coming from across the UK, the event has succeeded in harnessing some truly experienced speakers, including:

• Charles Morgan of the Morgan Motor Company and
• Steve Oxford of Oxfords Bakery (who was one of the finalists in last year's Princecroft Willis Family Business of the Year Award)
• John Tucker from the International Centre for Families in Business.
