Business Award Category Sponsorship
Sponsoring the awards offers you a unique, high-value opportunity to market your business through association and promote your brand, business and values throughout a comprehensive 5 month media campaign. You will increase your profile to the south’s business community and benefit from the vast exposure from a carefully managed PR and events program, culminating in the prestigious and high-profile Gala Dinner.
Our award categories are created depending on their relevance to Dorset and our business community, we work hard to represent all sectors as best we can and also aim to raise the profile of significant initiatives for the betterment of business. Sponsors who are passionate about these incentives ensure we have a good fit and that the awards can help drive that agenda. to that end we welcome ideas and conversation for award categories.
A sponsor will receive:
1. PR coverage across print and digital over a 5 month period to the value of £48,400 of EVE (Editorial Weighting) – the sum of editorial value during the programme ( total value cross the awards is £580,810 EVE).
2. A £2,500 Gala Dinner Experience. A first class event experience with the very best in hospitality and entertainment. Perfect for hosting your VIP clients, contacts or customers. A table of 10 dedicated to your category (6 for finalists and 4 for the sponsor).
3. Extensive Brand exposure across 4,000 promotional flyers, 650 Gala Dinner tickets, press display stands, the November/ December Dorset Business Magazine Winners Special Edition, regular award updates and news via social media channels and the Dorset Chamber communication channels, 650 Gala Dinner programs, huge sponsor presence on the big screens during the Gala Dinner, the awards website and official sponsor photography.
4. Event promotion during the official awards launch and the Meet the Finalist event in October, your award sponsorship will be included on all event promotional materials including email newsletters and attendee lists, while you will also be able to bring your own pop-up stand to each event. You will receive the following tickets for each event:

The Gala Dinner hosting and entertainment is an integral part of the evening and Dorset Chamber’s aim is provide our guests with a premium and memorable experience. Our entertainment sponsor enables the awards to achieve this while helping us to provide the colour and magic that helps us to position Dorset as a thriving business community showcasing the diversity, community and talent here on the south coast.
An exclusive opportunity for a Dorset based Auto provider to be our exclusive ‘Official Auto Partner’ for the duration of the awards campaign. It is a chance to align with the awards and our values ‘Together We Succeed’, and support the whole Dorset business community. This package enables you to take prominence at all 3 key DBA events, the launch, the Meet the Finalists Event and the Gala Dinner.
This sponsorship is available to one business only. As table sponsor will receive fantastic brand exposure on each table at the Gala Dinner in view of a minimum of 650 key business guests across 65 tables. You will also be included all copies of the Gala Dinner programme and listed on the official awards website.
The Meet the Finalists Event brings together all the finalists and sponsors for a premium event before the Gala Dinner celebrations. Raise your profile in front of all our guests of whom will be Dorset’s high achievers.
Our trophy sponsor will receive their logo exclusively engraved on each of the trophies and will take pride of place at each of the winners place of work for years to come. You will be referenced in the Gala Dinner programme, listed the DBA website and announced on all DBA social media channels.
Platinum sponsorship provides excellent brand awareness for 6 sponsors at all 3 key award events and includes exclusive programme advertising and extensive brand exposure for your business.
